Canvas AI carries brand direction, approved assets and reusable workflows into campaign imagery. I designed and built a visual production environment that combines generation, composition and editing, so supported workflows can be reused and refined without starting over each time.

The visual workflow connecting inputs and production steps.
01 / The thinking

Carry the brief into the next placement

Campaign production depends on context: the brand, the real assets, the intended placement and the creative decisions already made. Repeating that setup for every output makes the work harder to carry forward. I built Canvas around keeping those inputs connected to a reusable workflow.

Templates and variables carry art direction into generation and composition. The visual environment makes those decisions available for adjustment. The system can combine generative imagery with layouts assembled from real photographs or product screenshots, depending on the task.

02 / The thinking

Choose the right kind of control

Different materials need different treatment. A speaker photograph can be composed directly into an event header. A product screenshot can remain the source for a placement. Reference-guided generation is another supported route, with its own review needs.

For supported workflows, reopening work restores inputs, prompts and exposed settings so they can be refined. Authored layer compositions can retain their structure. A generated raster image remains pixels, and some rendered outputs need to be rendered again after a setting changes. Editability belongs to the workflow; it is not a promise that every output becomes a fully editable design file.

03 / What changed

Creative decisions that can be used again

Canvas provides a visual production environment for combining generation, composition and supported editing. Reusable workflows retain more of the production setup, making it possible to revisit the inputs and decisions behind an output.

The contribution is both creative and technical: choosing how real assets, generation and human control should work together, then building the environment that supports those choices.
